Ligía and Joshua met nearly three years ago — a connection that neither of us expected, but one that changed our lives forever.

Both of us had lived full lives before finding each other. We had experienced love, been married, and were raising two incredible boys. Ligía’s son, EJ, is 12, and Joshua’s son, Ari, is 9. Our paths crossed online, and what we thought would be just another date turned into the start of something truly special.

Originally from Brazil, Ligía brings warmth, beauty, and brilliance to every part of life. She’s a devoted mom, a compassionate nurse practitioner, and a phenomenal cook. Joshua is a dedicated neurosurgeon with a deep love for his family and a passion for discovery.

Together, we’ve built a life full of adventure, laughter, and love. We share a passion for travel, trying new cuisines, and dancing the night away at EDM concerts. Our families mean everything to us — Ligía’s family remains in Brazil, while Joshua’s family lives in Florida — and they’ve been a beautiful part of our journey.

At home, our love is made even richer by our two rescue puppies, who are truly like our children. While Maddie and Mason won’t be able to attend the wedding (though we wish they could!), they’ll be celebrating with us in spirit.
